‘I Have Been Battling Fibroid For 7 Years’ – Toke Makinwa (Watch Video)

Toke Makinwa had fibroids for 7 years and recently had a surgery to take out the fibroids from her body.

The media personality made this revelation in her latest vlog where she said she had to deal with a lot of pain initially because she didn’t want to have surgery. She said she attended churches, had lots of prayers, took a lot of communion but none took the fibroids away.

Toke said in her fibroid vlog:

“I have been battling fibroid for 6 going on 7 years and it’s been one hell of a ride.

I think I was diagnosed 7 years ago. I finally decided to do something about the situation this year because it was getting to the point where it was beginning to affect me.

I was in a lot of pains I couldn’t sit up properly it was beginning to push against certain organs inside of me. it was just nasty and a total disaster.

I started wearing undergarment body magic just to make so, i don’t look bloated and pregnant cos I didn’t want to have surgery.

Trust me I have been to Mountian of Fire, been through ever church service, taken all the communions and done all the fasting and prayer. It just didn’t get better.

If you are like me and scared of going under the knife it can be a terrible experience, it was successful and I’m alive, I’m here.” she concluded.

NAWA Ooo! Mum Videos Her 3-yr-old Twin Boys While Making Love In Lagos (Picture)

A woman, Patience Isua, has lost custody of her 3-year-old twin boys for allegedly videoing them while making love, according to Sources.

She was said to have sent the video recording to the twins’ father, Emmanuel Ikanta, who took the clip to the police.

The children were taken from her 2, Olugbemiga Ladipo, Ado residence in Ajah, Lagos, on Tuesday night by Police Commissioner Imohimi Edgal and some officials of the Ministry of Women Affairs.

According to Isua, she recorded and sent the clip to her estranged husband so that he would take her seriously. She said she usually told him the kids behaved strangely whenever they returned from his place.

Their father, she claimed, would hang up on her after saying “and so?” Isua said Ikanta left her last year, adding that he is co-habiting with a woman, who she alleged is corrupting her kids.

She said: “Somebody trained my boys to practice such devilish act. This is an abuse. Before I saw them and videoed it, I had told their father that whenever they came back from his house they usually complained of pain.

There were signs before it got to this stage. Most times they come back stooling blood or complaining of pains in their anus. I called his attention to it but he didn’t listen. This is what has been killing me silently.

I told him his children would come back from where he takes them to and they would sit on the chair and start saying mummy, daddy kiss. So, when I saw them that day, I had to video and send to him so that he would see the damage he was causing to our kids.

I know they picked up the habit where he usually took them to, because in my house, they do not have access to television and they do not go out.”

Asked the action she took after she saw her kids practicing homosexuality, Isua said she took them for deliverance and also told her pastor, who prayed for them. Ikanta, however, denied the allegations.

Addressing the couple, Edgal said: “There is going to be a joint investigation between the police gender unit and the ministry. We want to know where they picked up this kind of homosexual act.”

President Buhari Summoned, Presidency Reacts

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has said that President Buhari will respond acccordingly to the summons he received from the Hosue of Representatives yesterday April 25th.

The House had resolved to summon President Buhari to inquire from him what is being done to stem the tide of herdsmen attacks in the country.

The house came up with the resolution while debating the continued killings in Benue, particularly Tuesday’s attack on a Catholic church and the murder of worshippers and two priests.

Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, Adesina said the House had not communicated the summon to President Buhari.

“It is a development that just happened and almost throughout the day we have been in the Federal Executive Council meeting.

That meeting did not rise until after 5:00 p.m. So, it was after 5:00 p.m. when I got back to my office that I saw that news scrolling on the television.

That means that the President himself hadn’t heard of it at that time. So, when the lawmakers, the Houses of Representatives, communicate their decision to the President, it would be handled appropriately.”

While acknowledging that the house can summon the presidnet, Adesina however did not say whether the President would honour tthe summon when communicated to him.

“It is democracy in action. The House has the right to ask anybody to appear and the President is holding the position as a trust for Nigerians.

It is the mandate of Nigerians that he is holding. But when they communicate that decision to him, he will respond accordingly. I can’t be talking of what he will do until that decision is communicated to him,” he said.

Really? People Gathered In Church For A Beyonce Mass Concert And Ticket Was Sold Out (Watch Video)

I am really not a fan of Beyonce but this here, is crazy! People gathered for a Beyonce mass?

San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral looked and sounded more like a concert than a church for a first-of-its-kind Beyonce Mass that held yesterday.

Normally, the Wednesday night vine service has 50 people in attendance but with Beyonce’s name included, the service had 900 attendants.

“We didn’t expect this response,” said Reverend Jude Harmon. He adds that Grace Cathedral put the invite to the service on Facebook and it blew up.

“We thought it would be kind of a small exploration as a community about what it means to lift up black female voices because traditionally the church hasn’t done a great job of that. I use Beyonce as a central figure to have these conversations about the realities that black women face,” said Reverand Yolanda Norton of the San Francisco Theological Seminary.

Norton is the brain behind the Beyonce Mass and gave the sermon Wednesday night. She is a professor at San Francisco Theological Seminary and teaches a class on Beyonce and the Hebrew Bible.

She explains that she’s using Beyonce’s wide appeal to bring a diverse group of people together saying, “I know people think we’re worshipping Beyonce. None of that is true. This is a way to just have different kinds of conversation.”

How Nigerian Pupils Cheat During WASSCE Through Websites

While some youths sweat and rack their brains for answers to questions at the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination, others have perfected the art of getting cheap grades through some websites which obtain questions before the start of exams.

An investigation by PUNCH Metro revealed this on Tuesday.

Our correspondent had pretended to be a candidate sitting for the WASSCE being administered by the West African Examination Council.

He subscribed for answers to Commerce (Objective and Theory) from five of the result-peddling websites – naijaclass.com, examcrown.com, examsort.com, waecexpo.com and guruslodge.com.

While naijaclass, examcrown, examsort and waecexpo demanded N400 recharge cards to send a link to the answers of the exam and N800 for direct answers to phones, guruslodge demanded N800 to send the answers directly to candidates’ phones.

Candidates were, however, urged on the websites to make subscriptions for all the papers and pay into certain account numbers provided on their websites in order to get discounts.

Provisions were made for “Very Important Persons.” There were alleged testimonies of some candidates who had passed their exams after using the services of the websites.

They also displayed excellent WASSCE results of some candidates, whose names were deliberately blurred to conceal their identities.

After PUNCH Metro sent recharge cards to designated phone numbers on Monday, the operators of the websites, after some hours, sent confirmation texts.

Before Tuesday, the date of the exam, the operators had started sending links to the answer websites through text messages.

They said the answers would be uploaded on the sites. By past 1pm on Tuesday, some of the websites said they had got the questions and were solving them.

They supplied our correspondent with Personal Identification Numbers with which to access the sites. By 2.07pm, answers to the theory questions started streaming in, and in less than 45 minutes, the theory and objective answers had been supplied.

While guruslodge sent all its answers through text messages, others sent links based on the subscription of our correspondent.

Our correspondent, while trying to verify the answers to the theory questions at the end of the exam at 5pm, learnt that WASSCE candidates submitted the question papers with their answer sheets.

PUNCH Metro, however, contacted two candidates who wrote the exam to ascertain the questions asked by the examiners.

Candidate A, who wrote the exam in a public school in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, recalled answering questions bordering on division of labour, contract, reasons for consumer protection, second tier security market, calculation of working capital, among others.

Candidate B, another public school pupil, who wrote his exam in the Somolu area of Lagos, gave a similar highlight.

He said, “We had eight questions and we were asked to answer five. Some of the questions are: State three disadvantages and five advantages of division of labour? State the differences between public enterprises and public company? What is contract? Calculate the account of…”

A look at the answers provided by the websites showed they had the questions correctly. For instance, examsort answered the questions on second tier market, which it claimed was the 6th question on the paper. It also defined contract.

Examcrown highlighted the reasons for consumer protection, which it said was question number 7. The others also addressed the questions stated by the pupils.

However, a look at the objective questions showed that the website operators had conflicting answers.

A teacher, who did not want to be identified, said he was shocked to discover such services were freely advertised on the Internet.

He expressed disgust while recounting how he came by the websites. He said, “I was telling my younger brother of how I heard of a certain science teacher in my locality who went online to get answers to Physics practical experiments last year, instead of conducting the experiments with his pupils; and they all failed when the results came out.

“My brother remarked, ‘He didn’t get his answers from the right site.’ He further enlightened me on several sites on the Internet where by sending recharge cards of N400, pupils can have access to questions and answers of the exams they were writing in real-time.

“These sites always have all the exam papers, probably a day or two before the exams. And they have the solutions too.

There are many of them advertising and competing for patronage like legitimate business. On these sites are the testimonies of Nigerian students. I saw the testimony of a student on examcrown who got 7 A1s and a B3 after using their service.

“I went to one of such sites and in front of me were solutions to the Physics exam that pupils were sweating in the hall on. The solutions online were posted on the 19th of April, a day before the exam.

“Students typically have access to the solutions a few minutes to the commencement of the exams, of course to make maximum sales, as PINs could be shared if the answers were released earlier.

Several of these pupils still need the cooperation of invigilators and their schools to use their phones in the exam halls to access the answers, while others take advantage of large examination centres to do their thing surreptitiously. It breaks my heart as a teacher.”

He noted that answers to the National Examination Council’s questions were usually online two days before the exam, as some of the websites gave pupils NECO answers free.

He lamented that the situation had affected the standard of education in the country. “So, we have pupils getting eight distinctions now and 300 in UTME, yet having no substance in their heads. These ones will gain admissions into university and block the chances of good students who legitimately got their five credits and 220 in UTME.

My John James could not gain admission with a score of over 260 in UTME last year. Godstime is a great student, but he will be lucky to gain admission with the 280 he scored this year.

“Why are we so messed up as a country? Who are these Nigerians who are destroying this system for pecuniary gains? Aren’t they the same Nigerians who complain daily of the state of this country? Aren’t they the youth who should be the future of this country? The same young people who cry daily of how our father’s generation failed us?

“The rot in education is particularly sad because it has ripple effects, spreading across all sectors. Imagine students using these sites to get eight distinctions and 330 so they can go study medicine and surgery to become doctors. Imagine them wanting to become engineers, scientists, lawyers, etc.

They will most likely have to oil their way through school and come out deficient in whatever fields they find themselves in…even with great results. Are our exam bodies aware of these sites?” he added.

The spokesperson for WAEC, Demianus Ojijeogu, said the exam body was aware of the website operators, adding that their activities were a sad comment on education in Nigeria.

He said:-

“It did not start today. We have been following up on it for a while now. Our investigations have, however, shown that sometimes they recycle old questions or supply fake questions.

And even if they are correct, it is after the examinations have commenced. We have asked the supervisors to be our eyes.

“The supervisors are not our workers; they are supplied by the ministry of education. We have asked them to help us and prevent the students from entering exam halls with mobile phones. We have also upgraded our security facilities and we are deploying technologies as well.

“This situation is not peculiar to just WASSCE, other examinations are affected as well and it is sad for education in Nigeria. It is sad because it means if I can just sit down and someone will supply the answers to me, why then do I need to read?

“Our manpower has been overstretched. We have some of our workers working on day and night shifts. We are working round-the-clock and we urge the cooperation of other stakeholders to stop this ugly trend.”

Nigeria Finally Speaks On Ownership Of Nuclear Weapons

Ratcliffe coal fired power station

Nigeria has advocated for the total elimination of nuclear weapons, describing them as “inhumane” to be possessed by countries.

Amb. Kadiri Audu, Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the UN Offices in Geneva, made the call while delivering Nigeria’s statement at the General Debate in Geneva.

The debate was on the Second Preparatory Meeting of the 2020 Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation (NPT) of Nuclear Weapons.

According to him, NPT is a pivotal instrument for ultimately achieving the global collective resolve to eliminate nuclear weapons from the arsenal of States.

He reaffirmed Nigeria’s support for the goal of general and complete disarmament, saying “we believe that nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation are mutually reinforcing.”

Kadiri said indeed, nuclear disarmament remained the only effective path to non-proliferation, pointing out Nigeria’s unrelenting commitment to a nuclear-free world by its ratification of several non-proliferation protocols.

He said Nigeria will continue to welcome any gesture by nuclear-armed States to reduce their stockpile adding, however, its highest expectation is for these States to wholly eliminate their nuclear arsenals.

He encouraged states not yet party to the NPT to cease developing and testing these weapons of mass destruction, while also welcoming the growing diplomatic initiatives on the Korean Peninsula.

Kadiri reaffirmed Nigeria’s strong commitment to meeting its obligations under the treaty, and pledged his delegation’s preparedness to engage constructively in the course of this conference.

The Nigerian envoy said: “Our world is not safer today than it was yesterday. Nuclear weapons remain a major threat to humanity and to global peaceful co-existence.

“From the threats posed by the early generations of atomic bombs, we are now faced with a collection of modern, and far more powerful lethal weapons, whose detonation could spell doom for our entire planet.

“Nigeria considers the current and existential threat of nuclear weapons unacceptable. As States Parties, it is our obligation to work concertedly to avert the catastrophic consequences of their possible use or threat of use.

“As a result, we must not allow this auspicious conference pass into history without targeted outcomes. We must seize the opportunity it offers to reaffirm our commitment to the NPT.

“It is imperative that Non-nuclear weapons states are assured against the threat or impact of the deployment of nuclear weapons under a legally binding framework.

“To preserve the mutual trust necessary to safeguard existing assurances, the moratorium on nuclear testing should be maintained.

“In addition, we support the growing focus on the humanitarian consequences of the use of nuclear weapons.

“The African Nuclear Weapons Free Zone Treaty (Treaty of PELINDABA) continues to consolidate on the objective for its establishment.

“Besides promoting the Pelindaba Treaty, Nigeria fully supports the establishment of free zones across all regions, including in the Middle East.

“We are conscious that no nation is safe in the event of a successful act of nuclear terrorism. In this regard, Nigeria remains a constructive supporter of all efforts to promote Nuclear Security”.

‘Timing Of Arsenal Exit Was Not My Decision’- Arsene Wenger

Wenger is leaving Arsenal by the end of season

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says the timing of the announcement of his departure from the club after nearly 22 years “was not really my decision”.

It was announced on Friday that the 68-year-old Frenchman will leave the club at the end of the season, despite having a year left on his contract.

Speaking before Thursday’s Europa League semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid, Wenger said: “I focus on what I have to do every day.

“At the moment, I work like ever.”

Wenger added he would continue to work “for sure” in the future, but was not ready to commit to anything else “at the moment”.

He was responding to a question from a German journalist who wanted to know why he was “quitting at this moment, before a big game”.

Later on Wednesday, Wenger moved to clarify he did not have an issue with the timing – just that it was not his decision.

“After reaching agreement about my departure, I was happy for the club to decide when to announce. I wish to make it clear the timing of the announcement was right,” he said.

Arsenal have won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups, including the Double in 1998 and 2002, under Wenger.

Team News! Cech, Ozil & Others Available For Arsenal In Clash Against Atletico Madrid In The Europa League

Arsenal have Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere and Petr Cech available for Thursday’s Europa League semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid.

Midfielders Ozil and Wilshere, and goalkeeper Cech missed Sunday’s win over West Ham with minor injuries.

Striker Diego Costa has been named in a 20-man Atletico squad for the trip.

Boss Diego Simeone said at the weekend the Spain forward had “no chance” of being fit for the game at Emirates Stadium because of a hamstring injury.

He has missed three games since limping out of the quarter-final second leg against Sporting Lisbon.

Costa has scored six goals in 18 games since his move from Chelsea.

Full-back Juanfran will miss Thursday’s game because of a hamstring injury.

Sorry Mate! Liverpool & England Star Oxlade-Chamberlain Ruled Out Of 2018 World Cup !

England’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will miss the World Cup this summer after injuring a knee during Liverpool’s Champions League tie against Roma.

The 24-year-old midfielder was taken off on a stretcher in the 15th minute of Tuesday’s match at Anfield after challenging Aleksandar Kolarov.

He had a scan on Wednesday which revealed a knee ligament injury.

“Absolutely devastated to have picked up this injury at such a crucial time,” said Oxlade-Chamberlain.

He also said the injury “pales in comparison” to the news of a man being left in a critical condition after being attack outside Anfield before the match.

It is understood Oxlade-Chamberlain spoke to England manager Gareth Southgate to inform him about the injury.

“The extent of the injury means Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to miss the remainder of the campaign for Liverpool, as well as the World Cup in Russia with England,” Liverpool said in a statement.

“Oxlade-Chamberlain will now begin a rehabilitation programme to enable him to reach full fitness again as soon as possible, returning to action next season.”

The Reds added there would be “no specific timescale” on the former Arsenal player’s return.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, capped 32 times, joined the Anfield side from the Gunners last summer for £35m and has made 41 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals.

Liverpool beat Roma 5-2 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie, with the return leg in Italy next Wednesday.

England will face Belgium, Panama and Tunisia in Group G at the World Cup, which begins on 14 June.

Big Thief! EFCC Seizes 4 Properties From Provost Over Alleged N359m Fraud (Details)

A Plateau State High Court has ordered the interim forfeiture of four properties allegedly acquired by the Provost of Federal School of Medical Laboratory Technology, Plateau Sate, Dr Nkereuwem Etukudoh.

According to Eyes Of Lagos reports gathered, The Spokesman for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, said in a statement that Justice D. D. Longi ordered the temporary forfeiture of a duplex, two parcels of land and four flats.

The order followed a motion ex-parte by the EFCC seeking interim forfeiture of the said properties, same having being acquired with proceeds of illegal activities.

Etukudo is standing trial alongside the accountant, FSMLT, Yusuf Samuel; Secretary of Tenders Board, Ernest Demtoe; and Goodluck Echewa, and Esio Udoh who are both contractors of FSMLT.

They were charged on 15 counts bordering on conspiracy, official corruption and diversion of FSMLT funds to the tune of N359m.

The statement read in part, “Details of the properties to be forfeited are: a duplex situated at 1 Senator John Mbatu Crescent (Plot 240) Andi Kan Beulah Estate, Phase 2, Kafe, Abuja; and four flats situated at 2 Edem Urua Road, Off Nudo Udoma Avenue, Itam Ikot Ebia Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

“Others include: a parcel of land measuring 4,183.560 square meters situated at Ediene Ikot Obio Imo, Abak Road, Uyo and another parcel of land measuring 2,657.686 square meters at Defarmco Street, Eniong Offot, Uyo Akwa Ibom State.”

It would be recalled that the prosecution had on February 22, 2018 presented its first witness, Ethel Ekam, a former employee of the FSMLT, who narrated how Etukudo and his accomplices allegedly mismanaged N359m FSMLT funds and tendered relevant documents to back up the claim.

However, attempts by the defence counsel to pose questions to the witness relating to a document was objected to by the prosecution as the document referred to was not in an admissible form.

In the meantime, the matter has been adjourned till May 31 from the earlier adjourned date of April 19 – 20, 2018 for cross-examination of the PW1 and continuation of trial.

Champions League! King Ronaldo Sets New Record Despite Drawing Blank Against Bayern Munich

Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, set a record with his 96th win in the Champions League on Wednesday, as they defeated Bayern Munich 2-1 in the first leg of their semi-final clash.

Ronaldo has now appeared in more games in which his team won than any other player, moving past Iker Casillas, although he saw his goal streak come to an end.

The Portugal captain’s record run of 11 consecutive Champions League with a goal also came to an end – he had scored in all 10 of his previous UCL games this season.

The victory saw Real become the first club to win 150 Champions League games.

Ronaldo also moved level with Xavi for the second-most appearances in the competition with 151. Only former Real keeper Casillas has played in more games at 167.

Na Wow Oh! Twin Boys Caught Having S*x, Angry Wife Blames Their Father (Photo)

Twin boys were on Tuesday caught in a homosexual act in the Ajah area of Lagos.

The children, in a video clip that was prevented from going viral by Lagos State Police Command, were seen kissing and practising the act before their mother, Patience Ishua, who shot the clip.

Ishua, thereafter, sent the video to her estranged husband, Emmanuel Ekanta, a businessman, who reported to the Police.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command, Imohimi Edgal on seeing the video led officials of the Child Protection Unit of the Ministry of Youths and Social Development, to 2, Olugbemiga Ladipo Street, Lekki, where the children were taken from their mother, pending investigations.

However, before the children were whisked away, their mother admitted to having shot the video but accused her estranged husband of teaching the children the act.

According to her, “I shot the video clip and sent it to him to see the damage he has done to the children. He left me for an old woman.

“He usually comes to pick the children but whenever they return, they would be acting strangely and be speaking vulgar words. At times, they would complain of pains in their anus.

“Their teacher even said they were stooling blood. When I complained to him, he would not listen. The first day I saw them doing it was when I videoed them as evidence, my Pastor is even aware of the case.

“They have conducted deliverance on them. At a point, I told him to stop taking my children to his place because he has different people he brought from Cameroun staying with him.”

At a point, she burst into tears when it dawned on her that her children would not be in her custody for a while.

”This is actually my fault because this guy is supposed to be my husband and this case should not have gone to the Police. I feel I have failed as a mother,” she cried.

Her husband, Ekanta, described Ishua’s claim as false, saying she never brought to his notice the act, except the video clip.

He said: “I was so shocked seeing the clip because she did not even express any surprise while taking the shot, nor scold them. We separated barely a year because she was extremely violent.”

Edgal disclosed that the matter would be taken before the court to determine the suitability for parenthood and judgement.
